Philosophy at the HCS

Philosophical Reading Group

Plato's Symposium 

5 sessions, 1 hour each, 1 per week for 5 weeks

Start: October 2025 

Dates: Wed 15, Wed 22, Wed 29 October, Wed 12 and 19 November

The cost of the book club is £50. To join the philosophical provision of the HCS, it is required to be a member of the HCS. New joiners must pay £15 of the membership fee plus £50 for the philosophical provisions. Existing members are welcome to join the philosophical offer upon payment of £50.  

The intellectual content is lead and designed by Mrs. Richards. B.A.,M.A.,M.A.,M.Phil in Philosophy and QTS and PGCE.

All proceedings go to the HCS. This is not a profit led activity. 

Knowledge of Ancient Greek is required.
